MintLink Services — sell your skills as packaged work

MintLink Services lets Indian creators package what they do into Basic, Standard and Premium tiers with paid add-ons, the way a buyer already shops on a freelance marketplace. Payment is held in escrow until the buyer accepts the delivered work.

What you get

How selling a service works

  1. Publish a listing — set your packages, add-ons, delivery time and the brief you need from buyers.
  2. Get paid into escrow — a buyer pays upfront; MintLink holds the money securely, not you.
  3. Get the brief, deliver — your clock starts once the buyer answers your questions.
  4. Get paid — your share is released once the buyer accepts, or automatically after 3 days.

Pricing

The buyer pays the package price plus a 2% buyer fee and GST on it. The seller is paid 91.74% of the package price — MintLink deducts 8.26% (a 5% platform fee, a 2% gateway fee, and 18% GST on each).

Frequently asked questions

How does the payment actually work?

A buyer's payment is held in escrow by MintLink at the time of purchase — it isn't credited to the seller immediately. The buyer pays the package price plus MintLink's 2% buyer fee and GST on that fee; the seller is paid their share (MintLink deducts 8.26% from the package price — a 5% platform fee, a 2% gateway fee, and 18% GST on each) once the order is completed — either the buyer accepts, or it auto-completes 3 days after delivery.

When does the delivery clock actually start?

Not at payment — at the buyer's brief. A seller can't be held to a deadline for work they don't yet have the details for, so the clock starts the moment the buyer answers the seller's questions.

What happens if a seller misses the deadline?

The buyer can message the seller, or cancel for a full refund of the package price once the deadline has passed (MintLink's buyer fee is non-refundable, same as on every order). Repeated missed deadlines lead to a warning, then reduced listing visibility, then suspension.

Do I have to register for GST to sell?

No — GST is entirely optional and only relevant once your total annual turnover (across everything you sell, not just MintLink) crosses ₹20,00,000. If it applies to you, you can add your GSTIN to a listing and MintLink passes the GST straight through to you — MintLink never takes a cut of it.
