Dreamcast runs large, produced events — accreditation desks, badge printing, virtual and hybrid stages, a project manager on the other end of the phone. MintLink is a link you publish yourself. This page exists mostly to tell you which of those you actually need.
Demo-led versus self-serve
No published pricing — quoted per event by their sales team. Every route into the product is a demo booking or a call with their team, and they describe themselves as serving event teams running thousands to hundreds of thousands of attendees, read on 12 September 2026.
MintLink has no sales team for this. You sign up, create the event, set tiers, publish, and the link is live. The fee is 5% of a paid ticket, 8.26% all in, published, and free events are free.

Use Dreamcast when the event has a production budget
A corporate summit or a sponsored conference. Delegate categories, accreditation, on-site badge printing and a hybrid stage are their core product.
You need someone accountable on the day. A managed platform brings people, not only software, and at that scale that is what you are buying.
Procurement is involved. An enterprise contract, an SLA and an invoice raised against a purchase order are things we do not offer.
Use MintLink when you are the whole team
The organiser here is one person. A workshop for thirty, a supper club for twelve, a tournament for two hundred, a gig on a terrace. There is no procurement, no accreditation and no budget for a platform that starts with a call.
What you get is the practical half: multiple ticket tiers, sessions with real per-session capacity, combo tickets across sessions, a registration form you build yourself, QR check-in on your phone, a date-wise cancellation policy the system settles, and payouts to an Indian bank account after a 3-day clearing hold. If the event repeats weekly, MintLink Memberships is usually the better shape.
Frequently asked questions
What does Dreamcast cost?
They publish no pricing. Dreamcast is quoted per event through their sales team, and every route into the product is a demo booking. Checked 12 September 2026.
Can Dreamcast do small events?
Technically yes, but the product, the onboarding and the commercial model are all built for large produced events. For a thirty-person workshop the overhead outweighs anything you gain.
Does MintLink print badges?
No. There is no badge design tool and no on-site printing. If your event needs a badge desk, Dreamcast or a comparable enterprise platform is the right call.
Does MintLink handle virtual or hybrid events?
Only in the basic sense — an online event can carry a joining link shared with attendees after booking. There is no streaming, no virtual booths and no hybrid production.
How fast can I start selling tickets on MintLink?
Minutes. Sign up, create the event, add tiers, publish, share the link. Paid tickets need your bank details for payouts, which is the only step with a wait in it.
